1. About JoinFPV

JoinFPV ("JoinFPV", "we", "us") is an online tool for planning FPV drones: you pick parts, see the build in 3D, get compatibility checks, weight, thrust-to-weight and flight-time estimates, preview a Betaflight configuration, ask the AI assistant Gyro for a review and take interactive lessons. We call all of this "the service".

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

2. Who can use JoinFPV

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the service and any real drone you build.

If you use JoinFPV for an organisation, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.

3. Your account

Much of JoinFPV works without an account. Saving builds, running AI analysis, talking to Gyro Voice, opening lessons, syncing course progress and upgrading need you to sign in with Google; your first sign-in creates your account.

• Keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for activity under your JoinFPV account.
• One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer accounts or paid access.
• Do not use a display name or profile picture that is offensive or that you have no right to use.
• Tell us at @joinfpvs on Telegram if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Free and Premium plans

The builder, the Parts Lab and the Beginner level of the course are free. Premium plans add things such as the higher course levels and larger allowances for AI analyses, saved builds and Gyro Voice minutes. What each plan includes and costs is shown in the app before you pay, and the description shown at the time of purchase applies to that purchase.

Daily allowances, such as AI analyses and voice minutes, reset at 00:00 UTC and do not roll over. A plan can also be granted with a redeem code; codes are single-use and have no cash value. We may change plans, prices and features for future purchases; a change never shortens a period you have already paid for.

5. Payments and refunds

Paid plans are paid in cryptocurrency through our payment processor, OxaPay, on its hosted payment page. The price is set by JoinFPV and shown on the invoice; you pay the amount, currency and network the invoice states, plus any network fees. Your plan starts once OxaPay confirms the payment to us.

• Monthly and yearly plans run for the period you paid for and end when it ends; they do not renew automatically. Paying again for the same plan extends it from its end date. Lifetime plans last for as long as JoinFPV offers the service.
• Invoices are payable for a limited time, shown on the invoice. Crypto payments cannot be reversed by us: sending the wrong amount, currency or network, or paying after an invoice expires, may mean the payment cannot be matched. Contact us and we will do what we reasonably can.
• If a paid feature does not work as described, contact us at @joinfpvs on Telegram within 14 days of payment. Where we cannot fix it we will refund the unused part in cryptocurrency, to a wallet you name, and end the plan. Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under consumer law where you live.

6. Acceptable use

Use JoinFPV lawfully and fairly. In particular, do not:

• break, probe or overload the service, or get around plan limits, payment checks or access controls;
• scrape the parts catalogue or other content in bulk, or use automated tools to run AI analyses or voice sessions;
• send Gyro or the feedback form content that is unlawful or abusive, or that tries to make the AI produce harmful instructions;
• use the service to plan drones meant to harm people, carry weapons, invade privacy or break aviation rules;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it despite this term.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove content that does.

7. AI features

Gyro's written build reviews and voice conversations are produced by third-party AI models. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, and it can sound confident when it is. Treat it as a second opinion, check it against manufacturer documentation, and do not rely on it alone for anything that affects safety.

Do not tell Gyro personal or sensitive information you would not want processed by those providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Estimates, compatibility and drone safety

JoinFPV is a planning and learning tool. Compatibility checks, weights, thrust, current, flight times, wiring diagrams, Betaflight settings, 3D models and lesson simulations are estimates built from catalogue specifications and rules of thumb. They are not measurements of your parts and can be wrong.

• Always follow the manufacturers' instructions and ratings, and check wiring, polarity and settings before connecting a battery.
• LiPo and Li-ion batteries can catch fire. Charge, store and transport them safely.
• Remove propellers when bench testing, and fly only where it is legal and safe.
• You are responsible for registration, licences, remote ID, airspace rules and insurance wherever you fly.

Building and flying a drone is at your own risk. JoinFPV does not supervise your build and is not responsible for damage or injury caused by a drone you build or fly.

9. Your content

Builds, profile pictures, feedback and other things you create or send stay yours. You give JoinFPV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process and display them as needed to run the service for you — for example, to save your builds, run an AI analysis or show your profile. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve JoinFPV without owing you anything.

10. Our content and third-party brands

The JoinFPV service, design, course, illustrations, Gyro character, text and logos belong to JoinFPV or its licensors. You may use them only through the service, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Where we publish source code under an open-source licence, that licence governs the code.

Product names, brands and images of drone parts belong to their owners and are shown to identify the parts. JoinFPV is not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies, or by the retailers and simulators we mention, and we are not responsible for their products, sites or for purchases you make from them.

11. Availability and changes to the service

JoinFPV is in beta and under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We will try to give notice of changes that significantly reduce what a paid plan includes.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using JoinFPV at any time and ask us to delete your account by contacting @joinfpvs on Telegram. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service. If we end a paid plan for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part.

Sections that by their nature should survive — such as safety, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — continue after your use ends.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any build will fly, fit or perform as estimated.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, JoinFPV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Indemnity

If you use the service in breach of these terms or the law and that leads to a claim against JoinFPV, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give notice in the app before significant changes take effect. If you keep using JoinFPV after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the service and, for a paid plan, contact us about a refund of the unused part.

17. General

• These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and JoinFPV about the service.
• If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a business that takes over the service, without reducing your rights.
• Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. Consumers keep the right to bring claims in the courts where they live.
