Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

JoinFPV ("we", "us") operates joinfpv.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us about privacy at @joinfpvs on Telegram. Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using the service.

2. Data we collect

You can use the builder, the Parts Lab and the course map without an account; we do not ask who you are. When you sign in or use certain features we collect:

• Account data — when you sign in with Google: your email address, your name (used as your display name) and an account identifier from Google, and when you signed up and last signed in.
• Profile — a display name you edit and a profile picture if you upload one. Uploaded pictures are stored at a public address so they can be shown in the app.
• What you create — saved builds (their names, parts and computed figures) and your course progress and answers.
• Plan and payment data — your plan and when it started and ends, any redeem code you used, and for each crypto payment: the plan, amount, currency, status, invoice reference and timestamps, plus the blockchain transaction details (hash, amount, network, confirmations) that OxaPay reports. We never receive your wallet's keys.
• AI usage — the parts and figures of a build you send for analysis, and counts of how many analyses and voice minutes you have used, so plan limits can be applied. The analysis itself is shown to you and not stored.
• Voice — when you talk to Gyro Voice, your microphone audio and anything you type stream from your browser directly to Google's Gemini Live service, which also transcribes them. We do not record or store the audio or the conversation; a short transcript is kept in your browser tab only while it is open.
• Feedback — the message you send with the feedback button, the page you were on and, if you are signed in, your email address so we can reply.
• Technical data — like any website, our hosting providers process your IP address, browser and device details and request logs to deliver and protect the service.

3. How we use it

• To provide the service: sign you in, save and show your builds, profile and progress, and run the features you ask for.
• To process payments and apply your plan and its allowances.
• To keep JoinFPV secure: prevent abuse, fraud and overuse of AI features, and investigate problems.
• To support you and improve JoinFPV: answer feedback and fix what it reports.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping payment records.

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your builds, answers or conversations to train AI models.

4. Legal bases

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on:

• Contract — to provide the account, builds, course, plans and AI features you use.
• Legitimate interests — to secure and improve the service and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — for using your microphone for Gyro Voice, which your browser asks you for; you can withdraw it at any time in your browser settings.
• Legal obligation — to keep records the law requires, such as for payments.

5. Service providers we share data with

We share personal data only with providers that help us run JoinFPV, and only what each needs:

• Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) — hosting, database, file storage, sign-in and server functions.
• Google — sign-in with your Google account; Gemini Live for Gyro Voice; Google Fonts and Google-hosted files that the 3D viewer loads.
• DeepSeek — writes Gyro's build analyses from the build's parts and figures; your name, email and account are not sent.
• OxaPay — processes crypto payments. It receives the plan, price and an order reference, not your name or email; what you give OxaPay on its payment page is covered by its own privacy policy.
• Telegram — delivers feedback messages, with the page and your email if signed in, to our team.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a transfer of the service to a new owner, who would have to respect this policy.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and, for DeepSeek, China. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's own transfer mechanisms.

7. How long we keep it

• Account, profile, builds and course progress — while your account exists, until you or we delete them.
• Payment records — kept after the rest of your data is deleted, for as long as tax and accounting law requires, as the record of money received.
• Rate-limit counters — 24 hours. Voice talk-time records — 35 days.
• Feedback messages — in our team's Telegram chat for as long as they help us improve the service.
• Server and security logs — a short time, by our hosting providers.

8. Cookies and browser storage

JoinFPV does not set advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local and session storage for what the app needs: keeping you signed in, your current draft build, course progress (also when signed out), view, sound and banner preferences, where to return after sign-in, and a cache of your account data that is cleared when you sign out. Google may set its own cookies during sign-in. You can clear this storage in your browser at any time; you will then be signed out and anything kept only in the browser, such as an unsaved draft, will be lost.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your account and data;
• object to or restrict some processing, or withdraw consent;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

You can edit your display name and picture and delete saved builds yourself in your profile. For anything else, including deleting your account, message us at @joinfpvs on Telegram and we will confirm the request comes from you and answer within 30 days.

10. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), database rules so each user can reach only their own data, signed payment notifications, server-side checks for plan limits and keep secret keys off your device. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Children

JoinFPV is not directed at children under 13 and they may not create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, contact @joinfpvs on Telegram and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will give notice in the app of significant changes.
